The successful candidate will work within our Adult Mental Health Team, providing high-quality care to patients across all areas of the service. As an autonomous practitioner, you will be responsible for diagnosing, assessing, and implementing patient-specific programs of care, contributing to the continuous assessment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently as part of an interdisciplinary team to diagnose, assess, and plan patient-specific programs of care.
  • Undertake complex assessments using your profession-specific clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Function effectively across various environments, including wards, departments, and patients' homes, adapting to changing and demanding conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers, using a range of verbal and non-verbal tools to convey complex and sensitive information.
  • Evaluate patient progress and alter treatment programs as necessary.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
