We are seeking a talented Kitchen Team Lead to join our culinary team at Finlake Resort & Spa, a luxurious holiday destination in the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our culinary operations.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our talented team of chefs to create innovative menus and provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

About the Role
  • Prepare, cook and present dishes within your specialty, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and manage commis chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure their development and success.
  • Develop new menus and recipes, staying up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Monitor portion and waste control for profit margins, making recommendations for improvement where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and management of kitchen staff, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
  • Menu planning and development, ensuring that dishes are creative, appealing, and meet customer expectations.
  • Food preparation and presentation, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Food safety and hygiene, ensuring that all food is prepared and stored safely and hygienically.
  • Inventory management, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are managed effectively and efficiently.
