Clinical Psychologist Role for Older Adults

We are seeking an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team in providing high-quality psychological services to older adults with severe and complex mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will work in our inpatient setting, providing psychological assessment and intervention, as well as supervising and supporting other clinical staff.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of our services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessment and intervention for older adults with severe and complex mental health difficulties
  • Supervise and support other clinical staff in providing psychological services
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for patients
  • Contribute to the development of our services through research and audit

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and experience in clinical psychology.

The successful candidate will have a doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology, as well as experience of working with older adults with complex mental health difficulties.
