Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Oxford. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing consultation to the multidisciplinary team and contributing to the care provision of patients.

Key responsibilities include undertaking psychological assessments, delivering individual and group psychological interventions, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. You will also provide consultation and supervision to team colleagues and be a member of the ward leadership team.

About the Role

This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive high-quality psychological treatments within the adult inpatient wards. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care and treatment plans, and contribute to the development of a psychologically informed environment on the ward.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to work with people with severe and complex mental health difficulties, and to develop your skills in providing consultation and supervision to team colleagues.

Person Specification

  • Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings
  • Eligible for BABCP accreditation
