Job Summary

The Procurement Project Lead will support the Procurement Director in leading transformation projects, focusing on process optimization within the procurement function. The role involves analyzing and streamlining processes and fostering strong relationships across the organization.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Page Group as a Procurement Project Lead, where you will be responsible for driving and managing transformation projects within the procurement function. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Procurement Director in driving and managing transformation projects within the procurement function.
  • Creating process maps for the as-is solution and optimizing tasks performed by procurement administrators.
  • Conducting thorough analysis and management to ensure a robust understanding of tasks and activities in scope.
  • Streamlining processes, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and maintaining key processes.
  • Gathering, reviewing, and optimizing existing information with the team to align and standardize processes.
  • Leading the engineering and optimization of procurement processes, including the supplier onboarding process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a project manager in procurement, with a focus on transformation projects.
  • Expertise in process mapping, process optimization, waste elimination, and documentation.
  • Excellent soft skills, particularly in building relationships and working with at-risk teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand and manage complex tasks.
  • Experience in supplier onboarding and standardizing processes across teams.
  • Ability to review, map, remodel, and reintroduce processes efficiently.
