About the Role

The Procurement Project Lead will support the Procurement Director in leading transformation projects, focusing on process optimization within the procurement function. The role involves analyzing and streamlining processes and fostering strong relationships across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Procurement Director in driving and managing transformation projects within the procurement function.
  • Create process maps for the as-is solution and optimize tasks performed by procurement administrators.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and management to ensure a robust understanding of tasks and activities in scope.
  • Streamline processes, clarify roles and responsibilities, and maintain key processes.
  • Gather, review, and optimize existing information with the team to align and standardize processes.
  • Lead the engineering and optimization of procurement processes, including the supplier onboarding process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a project manager in procurement, with a focus on transformation projects.
  • Expertise in process mapping, process optimization, waste elimination, and documentation.
  • Excellent soft skills, particularly in building relationships and working with at-risk teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand and manage complex tasks.
  • Experience in supplier onboarding and standardizing processes across teams.
  • Ability to review, map, remodel, and reintroduce processes efficiently.
