Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Independent Reviewing Manager to lead and manage a team of Independent Reviewing Officers (IROs) in Halton. The successful candidate will oversee the review process for children in care, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of IROs to ensure high-quality reviews and recommendations.
  • Ensure all care plans are regularly reviewed, addressing the changing needs of children and young people.
  • Provide strategic input to improve services for children and young people in care.
  • Liaise with social workers, foster carers, and other professionals to ensure robust planning and care for every child.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the IRO team, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Handle any escalations, complaints, or concerns relating to the care of children in the system.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Significant experience in social work, specifically working with children in care, care leavers, or vulnerable young people.
  • Management or supervisory experience within a social care or child protection setting.
