Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner in Addictions to join their Integrated Substance Misuse Team at HMP Peterborough. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an estimated salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum and the opportunity to work in a unique and challenging environment.

About the Role

The post holder will have a specialist interest in substance misuse and complete clinical observations and assessments on substance misuse patients. They will ensure the provision of research-based high-quality care to patients in HMP Peterborough in accordance with local and national policies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. They will be required to demonstrate leadership qualities, set an example to junior staff, and participate in audits, research, and project work as requested.

We offer a comprehensive induction programme, regular supervision and appraisal, and opportunities for training and professional development. This role offers a Recruitment and Retention incentive of £5,000 payable over the first 18 months of employment, subject to satisfactory performance and completion of probationary period.
