Clinical Psychologist for Children and Families

We are working with a leading provider of children's specialist services to recruit a Qualified Psychologist to join their Children's Clinical Team. This hybrid role involves dividing your week between working from home and visiting children's residential homes within your area.

You will work closely with residential staff to develop individualised therapeutic plans, deliver training, and provide advice on supporting children in their care. Key requirements include a Doctorate level degree in Psychology, full HCPC registration, and experience working with children in CAMHS, residential or specialist education settings.

Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Clinical, Forensic, Counselling or Educational Psychologist to work with children and families. You will be responsible for conducting assessments and consultations, developing individualised therapeutic plans, and providing training to residential staff.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Carrying out assessments and consultations with children and families
  2. Formulating individualised therapeutic plans
  3. Delivering training and providing guidance to residential staff
  4. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Doctorate level degree in Psychology
  • Full HCPC registration without conditions
  • A UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
  • A Clear and enhanced DBS
  • Experience working with children in CAMHS, residential or specialist education settings
  • Familiarity with residential care, trauma-informed practice, and multidisciplinary working

Salary: Up to £63,000 per annum, dependent on experience
