Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Product Manager to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and enhancement of our Enterprise Data Products Portfolio, including critical enterprise datasets that span all functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery and enhancement of the products and services in the Enterprise Data Products Portfolio.
  • Set and evangelize your portfolio by building and sharing roadmaps, engaging in business planning activities, and partnering with key stakeholders to understand unmet and unidentified needs.
  • Manage your portfolio's backlog, owning prioritization and making tough trade-off decisions.
  • Continuously evangelize your portfolio's capabilities, products, and services by running engagement activities, demos, and showcases.
  • Serve as a key technical point of contact for your portfolio.
  • Maintain strong and active relationships with appropriate vendors to understand how their capabilities can be applied to best meet the business's needs, and to escalate relevant issues.
  • Enable and drive metrics for adoption, performance, cost, usability, quality, scalability, and value.
  • Collaborate with support teams to establish suitable operational and service management processes for your portfolio, driving regular meetings as appropriate.
  • Analyse and communicate the cost of your portfolio, breaking elements down to functional and project areas when necessary.
  • Engage in communities, both internal and external, to share, educate, and inspire.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends connected to your portfolio, guiding stakeholders through interpreting and leveraging the best opportunities.
  • Drive issues impacting services and platforms in your portfolio to resolution as an escalation contact.
  • Ensure that your portfolio's products and services are appropriately qualified and validated, authoring content as needed, and following IT Quality Processes associated with a global pharmaceutical company.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in technology service, project, and product leadership, managing and advancing complex, global environments.
  • Extensive experience in data governance, data engineering, and data observability.
  • Extensive experience working with public cloud services, especially Azure and Google.
  • Extensive experience working with data tools, technologies, and platforms – preferably those that are part of your portfolio.
  • Experience with peripheral technologies such as Boomi, APIM, Azure ADF, Power BI, and Logic Apps.
  • Demonstrable learning agility for new technologies and platforms.
  • Experience defining and executing large-scale, transformative strategic plans.
  • Significant, demonstrable ability to effectively prioritize within a global environment and drive quantitatively assessed learning and progress.
  • Demonstrable emotional intelligence, stakeholder management, negotiation, deep thinking, and time management skills.
  • The ability to translate between stakeholder groups, successfully and succinctly conveying a highly technical topic to a non-technical stakeholder group.
  • Strong personal accountability and organization.
  • Comfort driving decisions and acting despite ambiguity.
  • Ability to drive diverse groups and agendas to productive consensus.
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a technical discipline, or the equivalent work experience.
