We are seeking an experienced Marine Equipment Specialist to join our team at Devonport Royal Dockyard. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ships.

Job Overview:

This role involves providing technical support to the service provider, managing contracts, and evaluating progress against agreed standards. You will be responsible for assessing and endorsing technical requirements associated with emergent and additional work, as well as managing the ordering and supply of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical contract management and oversight of service provider activities
  2. Evaluate and report progress with quality, configuration, and engineering standards
  3. Assess and endorse technical requirements associated with emergent and additional work
  4. Manage the ordering and supply of materials to support core contract activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Minimum HND/HNC qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  2. Experience in marine propulsion and auxiliary systems
  3. Strong stakeholder management experience at all levels
