CDM Advisor Role

A leading global consultancy, Brandon James Ltd, is seeking a skilled and experienced CDM Advisor to join their prestigious team in Birmingham. This consultancy is renowned worldwide for delivering innovative solutions and outstanding services across a multitude of sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on their duties under CDM regulations, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices in health and safety.
  • Prepare and review pre-construction information, construction phase plans, and health and safety files to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct design risk assessments and implement hazard elimination strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to health and safety standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Deliver CDM and health and safety training sessions to clients and project teams, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
  • Support the integration of health and safety principles into the design and construction processes, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.
Requirements
  • Degree in a construction-related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in construction principles and practices.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification, showcasing expertise in health and safety management.
  • Membership with IOSH or APS is highly desirable, indicating a commitment to professional development and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in providing CDM and health and safety consultancy services, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Thorough understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety practices, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
