About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Health and Safety team as a CDM Principal Designer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering Health and Safety consultancy services to our clients, providing expert advice and guidance on CDM regulations, and managing commissions to ensure client expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Health and Safety consultancy services to existing and new clients, providing expert advice and guidance on CDM regulations.
  • Manage commissions to ensure client expectations are met, and Turner & Townsend's business management system is effectively discharged.
  • Liaise with the Health and Safety team to ensure consistency of service delivery and identify opportunities for developing the quality and profitability of the department.
  • Act as a Principal Designer and help clients manage and understand their legal responsibilities, in accordance with CDM regulations.
  • Manage the region in accordance with Turner & Townsend's business financial management systems and set KPI.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - essential.
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines - essential.
  • Good IT skills to generate reports and documents - essential.
  • Creative thinker, desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in construction and asset related health, safety, and well-being management.
  • Membership of APS - Essential.
  • Full UK driving licence - Essential.
  • Degree level education - Desired.
  • CMIOSH or equivalent – Desired.
