Tradewind Recruitment is seeking recent graduates to work as Graduate Teaching Assistants, supporting SEND Schools across Liverpool.
We are looking for passionate individuals eager to gain experience in the education sector, specifically within SEND environments. Tradewind partners with SEND schools across Merseyside, providing essential support to children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, aged 5-16 years.
Graduates from any discipline are welcome, provided they can demonstrate a commitment to working with children and a passion for inclusive education. Comprehensive training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting class teachers in delivering lessons and providing individual assistance to pupils with SEND.
Offering tailored, one-on-one or small group support to children with varying needs.
Monitoring and assessing student progress in line with their individual learning plans.
Assisting with the implementation and updates of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
Requirements:
A passion for working with children, especially those with SEND.
An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
Two professional or academic references.
The legal right to work in the UK.
