Starr Insurance Companies is a leading insurance and investment organization, providing commercial property and casualty insurance to businesses worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Multinational Programme Coordinators in issuing local policies and generating invoices across European Starr Offices;
  • Assist in creating premium allocations for multinational programmes;
  • Create all bookings on relevant IT systems;
  • Work with Underwriting Assistants to ensure data accuracy;
  • Support the Multinational Programme Coordinators in generating compliance reports showing local regulations worldwide;
  • File management.

Requirements

  • Entry-level experience within the commercial insurance industry;
  • Teamwork and IT skills;
  • Mathematical ability and understanding of the Lloyd's and London Market;
  • Exceptional telephone manner and customer service skills;
  • Planning and organisational skills with experience of prioritising a conflicting workload;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Self-management and ability to work independently.

Systems & IT

  • MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Underwriting systems.
