Risk Mitigation Expert

The Business Acceptance Unit at Addleshaw Goddard is looking for a highly skilled Risk Mitigation Expert to ensure compliance with global AML laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive AML/CDD checks, research, and risk assessments across various sectors and jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with Money Laundering Reporting Officers to identify and address high-risk factors and Suspicious Activity Reports.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory standards.

This role offers a flexible work arrangement, with options in Leeds, Manchester, or Glasgow. We seek an experienced professional with a background in risk and compliance within a legal, accountancy, or financial services context.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including AML guidelines.

Remuneration: £48,000 - £68,000 per annum, based on experience.
