Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our team at William Hill. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to all relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee compliance strategies, coordinate risk assessments, and provide specialized guidance to senior stakeholders on regulatory changes and best practices.
  2. Identify critical risk areas at the earliest opportunity to ensure we protect our customers and business.
  3. Evidence that all operational activities have been handled in accordance with process with no potential risks/concerns missed.
  4. Validate fair decision-making and risk mitigation, investigate decisions disproportionate to information gathered during operational transaction activities.
  5. Meticulously record assurance activities with internal reporting and audits, demonstrating regulatory compliance.
  6. Identify training needs and areas of focus for learning and development, and participate in calibration sessions with Quality Assurance/Training teams.
  7. Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions where core processes/compliance breaches have occurred and ensure feedback is given in a closed loop process.
  8. In-depth knowledge of Safer Gambling and AML procedures.
