Porter - Hospitality Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Porter to join our team at Chartwells - Independent. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of public areas, including the lobby and other high-traffic zones.
- Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting staff in setting up rooms and moving furniture as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling reception duties, such as booking theatre tickets or making restaurant reservations.
- Respond promptly to customer requests and concerns.
- Run errands and perform other tasks as required to support the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Ensure the safety of customers by placing and removing signage indicating wet floors or other hazards.
- Be adaptable and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Experience in delivering high-quality customer care and service.
- Take initiative and make decisions that prioritize customer satisfaction.
