About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Porter to join our team at Chartwells - Independent. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of customer care and cleanliness in our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in keeping public areas clean and tidy, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
  • Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting staff with setting up rooms and moving furniture.
  • Handle reception duties, such as booking theatre tickets and making restaurant reservations.
  • Respond to customer requests and provide excellent customer service.
  • Run errands and ensure the safety of customers by placing and removing signage.
Requirements
  • Be adaptable and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality customer care.
  • Take initiative and make decisions that benefit our customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
