Medico-Legal Investigation Lead

Lancashire County Council seeks an exceptional Medico-Legal Investigation Lead to replace the current post-holder. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the local coroner service and statutory coroner area, working full-time.
We seek a candidate with excellent organisational, management, and efficiency skills, experience in exercising sound judgement and communicating effectively. They will also have knowledge and experience of coroner law and basic medicine, proven skills in conducting investigations, and an understanding of court procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Law, Medicine)
- Proven experience in conducting medico-legal investigations
- Strong understanding of court procedures
Salary: £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
