At University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled Dermatology Consultant to join our team. As a General Dermatologist, you will have the opportunity to develop a special area of interest while providing high-quality patient care.

The estimated salary for this position is £104,087 - £152,849 per annum, depending on experience.

This role offers a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will be part of a well-established team in Brighton, working across multiple sites including Brighton General Hospital, Princess Royal Hospital, and Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital.

The main duties of the job include:

  • Providing outpatient-based consultations and daycase theatre lists
  • Supervising specialty registrars, general practitioner specialty doctors, trainees, physician associates, and nurses
  • Participating in incident reporting, risk management, and safety meetings

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A basic medical degree
  • MRCP (UK) or equivalent qualification
  • Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
  • CCT in Dermatology or equivalent
