About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Service Manager to join our team at SeeAbility. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring our support staff to ensure efficient service delivery and effective teamwork.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing teams, supporting individuals with complex needs, and promoting person-centered care. You will be expected to deputise for the manager in their absence and maintain the highest standards of quality assurance.

Job Description:

  • Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks
  • Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms
  • Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration
  • Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to enjoy what they love
  • Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing teams and supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
