About the role as Planning Manager at Aira

The Planning Manager is a crucial role responsible for effective capacity allocation to meet customer demand. This involves close collaboration with Team Leaders to ensure efficient planning, execution, and completion within time and budget constraints. The Planning Manager will oversee, manage, and coordinate customer service operations in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce safe working practices within the team.
  • Communicate effectively and lead by example.
  • Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and take responsibility for implementing corrective actions.
  • Support and empower the team to independently manage planning and customer service operations.
  • Define working practices that champion customer satisfaction and Aira’s working principles.
  • Manage and coach the team in the Aira Operating Model.
  • Oversee the hiring, development, performance management, and day-to-day management and administration of the team.
  • Prepare and analyse reports, providing regular updates to the Head of Region for Scotland.
