Job Description:

The Auditor Competency Lead will be responsible for managing and maintaining an effective approval process that complies with ISO 17021-1, ISO 17065, and relevant certification scheme requirements. This includes supporting the upskilling of new employed audit team members, providing a turnaround of subcontractor and agency auditor competency assessment approval requests within SLAs, and monitoring and identifying resource gaps within the auditor development team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in operational compliance, with good working knowledge of regulatory requirements. They will possess excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, data management, and reporting skills to report on the current status of compliance and assurance across Amtivo.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain an effective approval process that complies with ISO 17021-1, ISO 17065, and relevant certification scheme requirements
  • Support the upskilling of new employed audit team members at a pace that enables them to achieve target levels of billability within agreed target timescales from the point of employment
  • Provide a turnaround of subcontractor and agency auditor competency assessment approval requests within SLAs
  • Monitor and identify resource gaps within the auditor development team
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised qualification in auditing with experience of completing internal audits and managing corrective actions
  • Excellent analytical skills, data management, and reporting skills
  • Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with and manage others outside of reporting lines
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
