Supply Chain Coordinator Job Description

Major Recruitment is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our client's site at their manufacturing site near Wembley.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Place orders with suppliers assigned to you.
  • Adhere to lead times to maintain stock availability.
  • Regularly review holding stock levels and parameters to fit seasonal changes.
  • Monitor forecasts and raise concerns where necessary.
  • Maintain systems to reflect launches, promotions, delists, and amends.
  • Minimise stockouts through planning and monitoring stock movements.
  • Understand site storage limitations.
  • Understand the relationship between product life, minimum order quantity, shelf-life, and lead time.
  • Investigate discrepancies and escalate risks in a timely manner.
  • Support the logistics function with imports and border crossing administration.
  • Arrange for customs clearance.
  • Manage transfers from 3PL partners.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a similar role, minimum of 2 years.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience within a FMCG environment.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP, MRP, and Excel.
