The International Society for Industrial Ecology seeks a highly motivated Researcher to contribute to the transformative BuildZero project. This two-year position offers an exciting opportunity to develop new modelling tools and approaches to characterise the existing building stock in the UK.

As a key member of the research team, you will work closely with industrial and academic partners to identify and prioritise interventions that lead to a faster reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and material demand. Your expertise in modelling and analytical skills, combined with experience working with tools of Industrial Ecology, will be essential in achieving the project's goals.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth. Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD (or close to obtain) in Engineering or other relevant technical field
  • Modelling and analytical skills, and experience working with tools of Industrial Ecology
