Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced In-House Lawyer to support our Chief Legal Officer and Head of Legal in delivering legal services to the Group. The successful candidate will develop a good understanding of the business and key stakeholders, providing accurate and timely advice on various legal areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Legal Officer and Head of Legal in delivering legal services to the Group.
  • Develop a good understanding of the business and key stakeholders, providing accurate and timely advice on various legal areas.
  • Draft, amend, advise, and negotiate on commercial contracts, including data and software contracts.
  • Review, advise, and amend insurance policy terms and online customer journey changes, taking into account UCTA requirements for B2C contracts.
  • Review and amend Terms of Business Agreements with insurance partners and ancillary product suppliers.

Requirements

  • Solid PQE or private practice experience.
  • Formal legal professional qualification (Solicitor, Barrister).
  • Practicing certificate.
  • Commercial background with experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including data and software contracts.
  • Capability to use Office applications to a high standard, including Word, Excel, MS Teams, and PowerPoint.
