Job Overview

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the support and guidance they require to reach their full potential within the school environment. This includes overseeing the implementation of effective SEND provision, working closely with staff, students, parents, and external agencies to ensure that individual needs are identified and met.

  • Fully enhanced DBS clearance is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
  1. To oversee the implementation of effective SEND provision, including identifying individual needs and developing strategies to meet them.
  2. To work closely with staff, students, parents, and external agencies to ensure that individual needs are met.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience as a SENDCO or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with staff, students, parents, and external agencies.
Benefits

The salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. On-site parking facilities are available, and there are opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.
