About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join TRC Yorkshire as a Sales Growth Executive, focusing on internal sales and business development. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and ambitious individual with experience in B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Management: Manage and grow sales with existing customers/key accounts, leveraging your skills to drive revenue growth.
  2. Taking Orders: Process sales orders, arrange dispatch in coordination with the warehouse team, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  3. Purchasing and Logistics: Raise replenishment purchase orders to suppliers to maintain required products on the shelf, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
  4. Customer Resolution: Resolve customer disputes/issues regarding quality expectations, product shortages, damages, and any urgent or late delivery issues, providing exceptional customer service.
  5. Lead Generation: Generate leads, contact prospective customers via phone, email, and visit them as needed for business development.
  6. Reporting: Prepare and submit sales reports as required by management, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  7. Sales Initiatives: Be part of developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programmes to drive business growth.
  8. Communication: Provide daily reports of field sales success, communicating the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to superiors, and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and service providers.
About You
  • B2B Experience: Must have B2B product-sales knowledge and experience in handling/managing key accounts, with a proven track record of success.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel at least 1 day per week to visit customers for sales development, attending sample trials, and seeing the product in function.
  • Communication Skills: A confident communicator with a can-do attitude, possessing a polite but firm telephone manner, and the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Commercial Approach: A commercial, common-sense approach to sales and customer relationships.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to operate at pace under pressure, whilst not sacrificing quality and accuracy.
