Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Priory Hospital Glasgow.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and monitoring the needs of patients, collaborating with the team to develop care plans, and administering medications. A good knowledge of the Mental Health Act, risk assessments, and the care plan approach is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess and monitor patient needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for care.
  2. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring patient-centered care.
  3. Administer medications as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
  4. Participate in regular clinical supervision, seeking support and advice when required.
  5. Contribute to the development of positive behavioral support plans with patients, promoting their well-being and recovery.
Requirements:
  1. Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  3. Self-aware, seeking support and advice when required, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  4. Good listening and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.
