Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Priory Hospital Glasgow.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and monitoring the needs of patients, collaborating with the team to develop care plans, and administering medications. A good knowledge of the Mental Health Act, risk assessments, and care plan approach is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess and monitor patient needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for care.
  2. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring patient-centered care.
  3. Administer medications as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols.
  4. Participate in regular clinical supervision, seeking support and guidance as needed.
  5. Contribute to the development of positive behavioral support plans, working closely with patients and the team.
Requirements:
  1. Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  5. Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to learn and grow within the role.
