Senior Building Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Services Manager to lead our Building Services team in delivering exceptional MEP solutions across large and complex projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and motivating their team to achieve our objectives of Safety, Quality, and Energy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP management, with experience in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to promote our Building Services Department Management Systems and Procedures.

The Senior Building Services Manager will play a key role in supporting our Business Units and Company Vision, Values, and Ambition Objectives. They will assist in the delivery of our Building Services Strategy Plan and ensure that all aspects of the MEP Technical and Commercial parts of the project bid are executed in accordance with our Pre Construction Manual Procedures.

The successful candidate will have a Mechanical or Electrical Academic/MEP Technical related Qualification, Membership of an industry-related Professional institution, and IOSH or equivalent H&S Management Training. They will also have a good understanding of the MEP supply chain market and dynamics in which we operate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the application of the Building Services Department Management Systems and Procedures.
  • Support the Building Services "Value Proposition" and its alignment with the Business Units and Companies Vision, Values, and Ambition Objectives.
  • Assist in delivery of the Building Services Strategy Plan in support of the Business Units Objectives.
  • Support all aspects associated with the MEP Technical and Commercial parts of the overall Project Bid are executed in accordance with the Companies Pre Construction Manual Procedures.
  • Provide guidance in the tender and award of MEP packages in accordance with the required contract Pre Construction and procurement strategy, and objectives.
  • Ensure MEP teams ascertain Temporary Electrical requirements for their projects including load and energy assessments in line with the Management System Guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical or Electrical Academic/MEP Technical related Qualification.
  • Membership of an industry-related Professional institution.
  • IOSH or equivalent H&S Management Training.
  • Higher Diploma or Degree in Technical or Construction Related Subject.
  • Good understanding of the MEP supply chain market and dynamics in which the company operates.
