Job Description:

TPF Recruitment is assisting a prominent client in Maidstone with the recruitment of a Corporate Tax Director. This prestigious role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead a team and deliver strategic tax advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management:
    • Establish strong relationships with corporate clients, providing high-level tax advisory services and strategic guidance.
    • Nurture these relationships through regular communication and tailored solutions.
  • Tax Planning and Compliance:
    • Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
    • Review and advise on complex corporate tax matters, including M&A transactions and restructuring.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant tax legislation and regulations.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
    • Oversee the delivery of high-quality tax services, ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify opportunities to expand the client base and grow revenue.
    • Participate in networking events and industry forums to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility.
    • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and initiatives.
    Requirements:
    • ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with extensive experience in corporate tax.
    • Proven history of providing strategic tax advice and managing complex client engagements.
    • Strong technical expertise in UK corporate tax legislation and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
    • Demonstrable business development acumen with a proven track record of generating new business.
    Benefits:
    • The client is offering a competitive remuneration package, including:
    • A salary in excess of £90,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
