**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Director to join our team in Maidstone. As a Tax Director, you will play a key part in ensuring clients receive top-tier tax services while fostering a culture of growth and excellence within the team.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Leading and managing the tax department, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery to clients
* Providing strategic tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients, including businesses and individuals
* Overseeing tax planning and advisory projects, ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations
* Developing and mentoring junior members of the team, helping them to grow and excel in their roles
* Building strong relationships with clients, acting as their key advisor on tax matters
* Supporting business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for growth within the client base
* Contributing to the overall strategic direction of the firm, ensuring that both team members and clients thrive

**Candidate Requirements**
* ACA or ACCA qualified, with significant experience in tax advisory and compliance
* Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a team of tax professionals
* Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, with experience advising both businesses and individuals
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
* A strategic thinker, capable of identifying opportunities for business growth and development
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
* A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the ongoing success of the firm
