Tax Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Director to join our team in Maidstone. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of tax professionals, providing strategic tax advice to clients, and overseeing tax planning and advisory projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, excellent communication and relationship management skills, and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. You will also have a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the ongoing success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and managing the tax department, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery to clients
- Providing strategic tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients, including businesses and individuals
- Overseeing tax planning and advisory projects, ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations
- Developing and mentoring junior members of the team, helping them to grow and excel in their roles
- Building strong relationships with clients, acting as their key advisor on tax matters
- Supporting business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for growth within the client base
- Contributing to the overall strategic direction of the firm, ensuring that both team members and clients thrive
