">Luton Bennett is a leading heavy engineering company based in the Buxton area, seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team.
">About the Role
">This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer to work on a variety of equipment, including crushers, screeners, grinders and conveyors. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance tasks, working closely with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Approximately 15% of your time will be spent on reactive maintenance and installation work on projects.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Perform 100% mechanical maintenance tasks
- 85% preventative maintenance, 15% reactive maintenance and installation work
Requirements
">To succeed in this role, you should have any mechanical background, ideally from a heavy manufacturing industry. Apprentice training and fabrication experience are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
