Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance tasks on various equipment, including crushers, screeners, grinders and conveyors. The role involves approximately 85% preventative maintenance and 15% reactive maintenance and installation work.

Key Skills and Qualifications

">

We are looking for a skilled mechanical technician with any mechanical background, ideally from a heavy manufacturing industry. Apprentice training and fabrication experience are desirable but not essential.

Work Environment

">

The role is based in the Buxton area, Monday to Thursday, with a standard working week of 38 hours. You will work closely with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with approximately 15% of your time spent on reactive maintenance and installation work.

Salary and Benefits

">

The salary for this role is up to £36,000, plus regular overtime opportunities (1.5x) and increasing holidays (up to 25 days). You will also receive pension benefits, training opportunities, and progression within the company.
