About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Domestic Support Assistant at NHS Lanarkshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality domestic services to patients, staff, and visitors across our premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective and efficient domestic services, adhering to NHS Lanarkshire and Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
- Support new staff members in their working environment.
- Participate in on-the-job training and induction to achieve full competency across a range of duties.
- Contribute to Health & Safety initiatives, including risk assessments and participation in PaMOVA training.
- Undertake NHS Lanarkshire compulsory training and Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) standards.
- Develop effective written and verbal communication skills to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Carry out assigned tasks effectively and efficiently in a busy environment.
- Utilize basic information technology skills to support daily tasks.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and related procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
