We are seeking an experienced Clinical Effectiveness Manager to join our team at the South Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW). This is an exciting opportunity to work with ICBs to determine high-quality, evidence-based clinical commissioning policies and guidance.

The role requires strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and NHS commissioning, particularly clinical policy development. You will be responsible for managing and delivering a workplan of clinical policy reviews for ICB customers, as well as responding to new consultancy and project work as they arise.

Clinical Effectiveness Managers work within the SCW Clinical Effectiveness Team to support ICBs in developing and implementing clinical commissioning policies and guidance. The ideal candidate will have experience of researching best practice in health and social care, interpreting its relevance and processes/practices which could be implemented successfully to achieve system reform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical commissioning policies and guidance
  • Support ICBs in determining high-quality, evidence-based clinical commissioning policies and guidance
  • Respond to new consultancy and project work as they arise

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum. Flexible working arrangements available. Benefits package includes generous annual leave entitlement and opportunities for professional development.
