Senior Mental Health Service Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Acute Inpatient Mental Health Services as a Ward Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of clinicians and support workers, and will act as a role model within the service to uphold the professionalism of the service.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will have leadership and managerial responsibility for a team of clinicians and support workers, and will be responsible for:
- Fostering a culture of professional development, team support, and excellent standards of care.
- Having continuing responsibility for an innovative high-quality mental health service.
- Deputising for the Clinical Manager as and when required.
- Responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient use of all resources, including staff deployment.
- Responsible for managing a delegated budget and working within this under the leadership of the Clinical Manager.
- Ensuring that staff work within the competency of their role.
