Our Challenge

We are facing one of the biggest cost of living crises in years, and many individuals are struggling to pay for basic necessities like food, rent, and utilities. This has led to an increase in homelessness, and we are committed to doing our part to address this issue.

Our Solution

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Tenancy Support Worker to join our team. As a Tenancy Support Worker, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their goals and maintain stable housing. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to thrive.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in identifying and working towards individual goals consistent with sustaining a tenancy in supported housing or privately rented accommodation.
  • Provide high-quality support services to clients, including advice, support, motivation, crisis intervention, and future planning.
  • Undertake assessments and casework with clients seeking support or resettlement, ensuring an integrated approach to support provision.

Requirements

  • Experience working within the homelessness or social care sector.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data management.
  • Understanding of and commitment to confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Ability to work with clients who may display challenging behaviors.
  • Solid IT skills with the ability to record and maintain accurate records in a timely fashion on IT applications.
  • Ability to write concise reports, client notes, and external letters to a high standard of efficiency.
  • Experience conducting client assessments and interviews.
  • Effective time and workload management.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, creatively managing a varied workload.
