About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Executive to join our team at G Touring. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing airline inventory and maximizing margin for the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines and internal departments
  • Plan and manage annual workflows, seat management, and cost control of the Aviation component across a portfolio of tours
  • Ensure accurate flight displays and customer experiences
  • Work within financial limits and tight deadlines to avoid penalties
  • Manage schedule changes and regional flights
  • Collaborate with the Holiday Director department to ensure seat availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Complete flight lists and ticketing on time
  • Ensure accurate booking and ticketing information
  • Support Aviation customer-facing Sales and contribute to team performance
  • Be the 'go-to' person for geographical area, liaising with suppliers and sharing information with colleagues
  • Effectively communicate with customers through the Tour Change process
  • Seek tax recoveries and assist with flight cost discrepancies
  • Work with the Sales Centre to ensure customer information is accurate
  • Review and complete various Aviation reports
  • Participate in the call rota and provide Aviation training and support
  • Support Customer Care with Aviation customer feedback
Requirements
  • Knowledge of airline routes, operating guidelines, and contract interpretation
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively
  • Experience in the travel industry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good negotiation skills and solution-driven approach
  • Strong quantitative skills for analysis and problem-solving
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks and embrace change
