MMP Consultancy seeks a seasoned Building Safety Manager to lead compliance and safety efforts for high-risk residential buildings in Westminster, London.

This pivotal role supports the Principal Building Safety Manager in ensuring adherence to the Building Safety Act 2022 and fostering a strong culture of building safety across the organisation. As an interim position, this role will pay £372 per day on an umbrella basis.

This role involves preparing and submitting Building Assessment Certificate applications, liaising with the Building Safety Regulator and internal teams, and providing support for the Principal Building Safety Manager to meet all requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Fire Safety Team to ensure compliance across all high-risk buildings and carry out building inspections for high-risk buildings reporting back to the business defects and improvement works required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Produce detailed building safety case reports for Building Assessment Certificates.
  2. Provide timely and accurate reports to the Principal Building Safety Manager.
  3. Carry out building inspections to confirm risk levels and necessary actions.
