Deaf Support Professional

Job Title: Deaf Support Professional
We are seeking an experienced candidate to provide 1:1 support with pupils between the ages of 2-11 at a school that prioritizes communication accessibility.
Estimated Salary: £83 per hour
Role Overview:
- Provide individualized support to pupils with varying levels of need
- Support the development of effective communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a conducive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with pupils, parents, and educators to understand and address their communication needs
- Develop and implement strategies to promote inclusive learning practices
- Contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for all students
Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in British Sign Language
- Previous experience working with pupils with hearing impairments
- Enhanced DBS check on the updated service
