Job Summary

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Perinatal Matron to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving transformational change in healthcare and developing a workforce capable of providing safe and high-quality care standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure adequate staffing and develop staff retention improvement action plans.
  • Implement the core competency framework and ensure all perinatal staff have opportunities for continuous professional development.
  • Provide leadership and management expertise to promote teaching, training, and ongoing development of midwifery and nursing staff.
  • Ensure non-registered workforce personal, professional, and practice development is an active process within Perinatal Services.
