Job Description: The Elsdon Group is seeking a highly motivated Planning Engineer to support project management functions, including project schedule preparation and maintenance, monitoring progress, and providing regular updates to ensure the project stays on track.

Key responsibilities will include preparing project work programs using Primavera P6, coordinating with relevant departments, and updating project schedules regularly to reflect actual progress and resource allocations. You will also be responsible for monitoring progress, identifying deviations, and recommending corrective actions.

Additionally, you will prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, evaluate subcontractor progress payments, and report on schedule performance metrics and project status. A strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum of 4 years of planning experience in the contracting sector. Strong communication skills and the ability to analyze project data and communicate findings to stakeholders are required.

Salary Band: $100,000 - $160,000 per year.
