Electrical Hardware Specialist

An attractive compensation package, estimated to be around $100,000 - $150,000 per annum, will be offered to the successful candidate.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Hardware Specialist to join our team at Whelen Engineering. As an Electrical Hardware Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and supporting hardware and embedded firmware for new product development and sustaining engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Circuit design and analysis using advanced software tools.
- Schematic capture and hardware design using Altium Designer.
- Hardware integration and testing.
- Embedded firmware development in C/C++ programming languages.
- Debugging and analysis of hardware and firmware issues.
- Collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless product development.
Requirements:
- A degree in BSEE from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Proficient understanding of circuit design and analysis.
- Experience with circuit simulation using SPICE modeling.
- Proficient knowledge of common electronic circuits and components.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
