About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Senior Technology management team as the Head of Information Security. This role reports directly to the Chief Architect and will be responsible for maintaining and developing our information security strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive information security strategy, including risk assessments and security audits, to ensure the protection of our business and its assets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of security engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluation to ensure their growth and development.
  • Resource Allocation: Collaborate with our delivery team to plan and allocate personnel, hardware, software, and services to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of our information security budget.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards for retail technology, distributed worldwide.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, managing and growing high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas and build relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Relevant security certification (e.g., CISSP) is a plus.
