Job Title: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher or experienced learning support professional to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable learners. As a SEN Tutor, you will work one-to-one with students who require additional support in Maths, English, or Science, and help them to overcome their learning challenges.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and holistic sessions that meet the individual needs of each student. Your role will involve completing lesson reports and providing feedback on student progress, as well as working closely with our SEN Support Team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEN, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online assignments
