Job Title: Special Education Needs Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Needs Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-to-one tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Work collaboratively with our SEN Support Team to ensure seamless support and progress for each young person
  • Contribute to the development of our tutoring services and resources
Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online assignments
